Love’s Alchemy

In dealings with other humans especially of the familial variety, the heart can become battered and torn.  It can be a difficult path to walk, that of healer and resident sane one (by whose definition I am not sure…).  Feeling rather worn today I went out to my resource, the woods surrounding my home.  This is where I go to seek comfort and guidance.  The trees have always been my friends so when I feel off, I seek trees.  While hugging a white pine I was told very clearly not to draw on the living for support but rather to open my heart more and give love to all that I contact.  The Father continued, it is impossible for negativity or hurt to glom onto and mutate you when you are pouring love from your heart, these negative feelings will simply be burned up by the heart’s flame, alchemy.  It is another one of those paradoxical lessons from the heart, to open and love more when you have been hurt but there is no greater transformative energy than love, no flame that burns hotter.  So, I opened my heart and I poured my love into that white pine and felt her shiver, then share it with all the other white pines since trees are communal beings.  I was compelled to love even more as I left my tree, I fed the wild birds, took longer walks with my dogs, chatted with my nosy lonely neighbor and made my girl homemade noodles for dinner.
Brightest Loving Blessings to All!
