Perception of Perfection

Once upon a time, we opened our eyes and saw a world we did not recognize, felt bodies we did not know and thought thoughts that bewildered us. We felt a vague longing, a tickling at the back of our consciousness that something was not right, that we somehow made a wrong turn. We felt lost, alone, afraid…abandoned. What did we do to deserve this? Am I being punished? Cast out.

Collectively, we have been walking the path of remembrance, of awakening to the reality that we are more than we have ever believed and that this world is a reflection of our inner beliefs. Our 5th dimensional “Garden of Eden” calls to our hearts…”call me forth, allow me to flower and dazzle your world again. You need only to remember…”

And we are remembering.

But are we forgiving? Are we owning it all?

We like to think that the “Garden of Eden” was a perfect place awash with purity and a choir of angels. Perhaps…that is so.  But…

Perhaps what needs redefinition is not the “Garden” but our perception of perfection.

In our panic and fear we attempted to recreate our “garden”; if only I can be pure enough, clean enough, good enough…if I cast out all of my darkness, certainly I will be worthy.

What if perfection is not the purity of Light and beauty but the serene balance of the whole?

When we disown parts of ourselves, for whatever reason, these parts take on a life of their own; coalesce, incarnate, reflect. Until all we can see around us is that which we cast out. It becomes our prison, our house of mirrors.

Forgiveness and understanding are the key to our freedom; self love the gate to the Garden.

Let’s look to our friends Monsanto for example. Quickly becoming the most hated company in the world, who better to hold up the mirror? So…why do we hate Monsanto? What characteristics do they hold? Greed, control, malicious intent…sure everyone “knows,” right? That Monsanto wants all the money (energy), to own all the food (energy), and that finally, they intend to kill us…hmmmm.

Please allow me to continue playing “devil’s” advocate here…let us all take a large step back into witness mode. This is where we hold a large sacred space for ourselves in order to get enough distance from an issue so we can see it more clearly from all sides. OK.

So, from our grounded witness mode, feel into those statements and beliefs regarding Monsanto. Then ask yourself:

How am I greedy?
How am I controlling?
How do I hold malicious intent toward others AND myself?

Owning our darkness is integral to full remembrance, to wholeness, to balance. If we cannot own our own darkness there will be those who will gladly pick up your unwanted energy, power and fire and they will use it as they see fit, and likely they will use it against you… Darkness unbalanced by Light can be a frightening force…but remember! You are in a house of mirrors so…

Own what you hate
Own what you fear
Own what you judge

Then forgive yourself for forgetting and love yourSelf into the Garden…I’ll see you there!
